The Mal Thursday Show #156: The Music Machine Story as told by Mark Landon

It’s essential rock n’ roll oral history, heavy on the fuzz guitar. Presented in Living Monophonic and Ultrasonic Stereophonic Sound. Originally broadcast 9 May 2019.

Mark is a very underrated guitarist: His leads were so creative, yet perfectly on time! What he plays on Bottom of The Soul is magical! I personally reached out to Alan Wisdom three years ago to interview him on the band...He really did not want to talk about it...Sean never returned his original BMW copy! Mark if you read this, please get in touch with me! I have a few great questions for you! TR

Great interview! I've been going back and listening to the Music Machine and that music, like a lot of 60s stuff really holds up. MM was truly original and that sound, So. Much. Fun. I corresponded with Sean Bonniwell back in 2005 or so about Talk Talk and what a monster tune that was. Hollywood was an exciting place back in the day and the Music Machine is unforgettable for me. Thanks for the music!
